Identity Writer’s group started in the 1980s and many BAME writers have passed through Commonword’s doors since then. New members are always welcome.
Identity meets at the Commonword office every Wednesday, 6.30 – 9pm.
We have a diverse programme ranging from the workshops themselves to performances, launches, seminars, translation sessions, conferences, hook-ups, Masterclasses, events and the occasional writers’ lunch!
Identity is not to be confused with… Young Identity, our youth writers project. You can find out more about Young Identity here
