Ellie Andrews is a first-class graduate in English and Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her work spans fiction, script and screen and focuses on storytelling within underrepresented communities. She is currently a Creative Producer and uses digital methods and emerging technologies to explore and reimagine traditional narratives.
Ashleigh Nugent
Ashleigh Nugent is a Writer, Performer and Creative Director at RiseUp CiC. His publishing credits include poetry anthologies, academic journals, magazines and blogs. He was the winner of the 2013 Commonword Memoir Competition and received an Honorable Mention in the 2021 Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards.
For the past 22 years Ashleigh has used rap, poetry and literature to help the most vulnerable to develop positive mindsets.

Ali Al-Jamri
Ali Al-Jamri is a Bahraini poet, translator and editor based in the Manchester. In 2021, he edited Between Two Islands: Poetry by Bahrainis in Britain and guest-edited ArabLit Quarterly: FOLK. His poems and translations have been published in Modern Poetry in Translation, Poetry Birmingham, Harana, Bahr Magazine, Zindabad and been featured at the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival. He curated the Manchester Poetry Library’s Arabic Language Collection and is a New Writing North Arabic Translation mentee.
