Lois Keith is a disabled woman, and a teacher, writer, and editor. Her novel Out of Place was published by Crocus books. She has written two books on teaching English and a variety of articles, poems, and essays on disability issues. She lives in North London with her husband and two daughters. She edited What Happened to You?, a hard-hitting and deeply moving collection of stories, poems, and essays by more than thirty disabled women, the collection was winner of the MIND/Allen Lane Book of the Year Award for Writing by Disabled Women.
