Louise Wallwein is a poet/playwright.  Her career took off in 1998 when she performed a legendary one-woman show on the wing of a Shackleton aircraft in the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.  She has had plays commissioned by Contact Theatre, Arena Theatre Company Australia, Sydney Opera House, Red Ladder Theatre Company, the BBC, Royal Exchange Theatre and Sheffield Crucible. Louise Wallwein has conducted many Poetry Residencies. In 2006 she became Poet in Residence of Queensland, Australia. She is very proud of her work in communities, and has worked with thousands of people, helping them to find and develop their voice.
