After seven hugely successful shows, One Mic Stand is BACK again!
For those who aren’t familiar with the format, One Mic Stand is a boisterous night of poetry, music and visual art.
The night is centred around a Poetry SLAM, in which 10 poets are given only 3 minutes each to wow the audience with their lyrical mastery and charismatic delivery to battle it out to gain the top spot and with the grand prize of £50!!
In the past we’ve had guest acts such as: Jenna G, JP Cooper, Ione Mai, Ape Cult, Voodoo Black, Mothership Connection and Deepo just to name a few;
THIS MONTH our special guest performers are the amazing beatboxer turned vocal sculptor JASON SINGH as well as DYSLEXIS and METRODOME as Project APEX launching their highly anticipated debut vinyl EP, performing a never seen before live set with the 8 Gold Rings band.
In addition, this month our house band is none other than the notoriously prodigious 8 GOLD RINGS!
If you don’t know who any of these people are, GET TO KNOW and if you still don’t know, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
