Shahireh Sharif, born in Iran, lives in Manchester. She started her career as a scientist after graduating with a PhD from the University of Manchester. After a few years working in the University she decided to follow her passion, writing. She likes to explore the discipline of Science and the freedom of the Arts. Shahireh’s first fiction Bazgasht, in Farsi, was published as an e-book by Commonword in 2015. She is currently working on her first novel in English.
