Adam Lowe is a writer, publisher and journalist from Leeds. He currently lives in Manchester, where he runs Young Enigma, a writer development programme for emerging LGBT writers, supported by Commonword and Arts Council England. His pamphlet Precocious was a reader nomination for the Guardian First Book Award. In 2012 he was Olympic poet for Yorkshire, and in 2013 he was honoured as LGBT History Month Poet Laureate. He runs Dog Horn Publishing, a publisher of cutting edge and transgressive literature.
