Laura Sinclair, teacher, painter and writer of Jamaican decent, started writing, through diaries at the age of 8 and has continued for twenty years. The childlike awe of the mundane shines through her picture-provoking poetry. She has performed poetry all around Manchester. Notable performances include Apples and Snakes and Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester. She has painted and exhibited for Cultureword, Back to Roots project and Didsbury Arts Festival, to name a few.
