Julia Davis works across disciplines; as poet, performer, ceramicist and researcher, developing different approaches to artistic practice and agency as an artist.  She has participated and developed work for indialogue at Nottingham Contemporary exploring the nature of collaborative working. Performance and publishing includes her work in Eastern Europe, travel to Belarus and the Ukraine where she started a wonderful friendship and writing partnership with theatre groups and dancers.  She is presently exploring dance and narrative with the ongoing collective of DIY Gypsyland with Delaine le Bas. She also works closely with her identical twin sister who is a visual artist.
