Yolanda Mercy

Yolanda Mercy is an Actor, Playwright and Drama Facilitator; who trained at the renowned Brit school, Laban and Central School of Speech and Drama. Yolanda is currently a Resident Artist at The Roundhouse, and Emerging Artist at Oval House theatre (previously resident at The Almeida theatre). She has had the privilege of performing and presenting work at venues such as: Battersea arts centre, The Globe theatre, Almeida theatre and Highline ballroom (NYC).

In addition to her performance work, Yolanda was selected to be on prestigious writers programs at: The Lyric Hammersmith (Led by Duncan Macmillan), Soho theatre and most recently Tamasha (led by Fin Kennedy). At present Yolanda is currently developing and touring her first solo live literature, dark comedy show On The Edge of Me”, (which explores graduate unemployment and mental health issues); this thought provoking show has had successful performances throughout the UK. Yolanda is dedicated and passionate about creating work, that supports social change; and is always keen to collaborate with artists to achieve this aim.
